TAIO TYPEWe are an award-winning, independent type foundry and design practice. We work with clients to produce not just typefaces, but also visual identities, icons sets, exhibitions, prints, and publications.

We collaborate with designers who are POC, are queer-identifying, and/or are women, to create high-quality typefaces, visual systems, and books. Our mission is to represent a new, diverse generation that breaks away from the type industry’s exclusive domain. Undeterred by the status quo, we are committed to designing solutions that resonate with individuals who, like us, pursue excellence and embrace diversity.
